History

During the history of the company, and before, extensive experience has been gained through a variety of projects. Listed below is a brief description of some of these projects, and in some cases their customers. They are broken into two sections:- general projects and antennae.

General Projects

Design and manufacture of hardware equipment for British Telecom

Development of Inmarsat’s Aeronautical System and EPIRB system

Development and installation of complex monitoring systems for Inmarsat

Provision of a satellite based global data network

Installation of antennae, from GPS to 15m diameter (80 tonne) reflectors

Decommissioning and removal of complete antenna farm (15m dia dishes) and communications equipment for Stratos Communications

Development and installation of a variety of Industrial Inkjet printing equipment, including manufacture of custom sub-assemblies

Antenna Projects

BT's Goonhilly Earth Station satellite antennae: 1m to 15m dia.

BBC Droitwich LF / MF antennae and 'matching unit' manufacture, installation and commissioning

BBC 'World Service' MF antenna array (5 x 300ft tower, Yargi config) including matching unit manufacture and installation at Orfordness  Island, Suffolk.

HF broadcast 'curtain' arrays in UK and Switzerland.

Marconi 'Conifan' HF antenna project to extend freq band for US military

Development of HF rotating 'Log-Periodic' antenna for Marconi

Development and manufacture of antenna control and monitoring systems
